Jenny and Chad Are Engaged

This is Jenny's ring that Chad surprised her with on Saturday April 18. He came to her house ,presented Jenny's mom with a white rose and then went up and woke Jen up with her favorite bagel and sang her a song he wrote in which the last line said "Jenny ,will you marry me?'She was very surprised ,but said "Yes"

We went to a YSA activity the evening of their engagement. This is Chad and Jen in front of the Cheesecake Factory

Aren't they so cute together

Easter is a wonderful Holiday . We celebrate the ressurection of The Savior Jesus Christ. Hopefully we can appreciate the Atonement everyday of the year , but we especially contemplate it and express our gratitude at Easter time. Our family got together for a wonderful dinner at Jenny and Gabe's house. Ryan made his special shrimp enchiladas with all the trimmings made by Jen. My mom made a German Chocolate cake( her specialty and my favorite)and Jen made Kade's favorite 3 layer Chocolate Cake.Afterwards we had an egg hunt which we were so happy to have because it had rained all morning.

Kade's 3rd Birthday

On April 6, 2009 Kade was 3 years old and he came to my house for a little party.
His Greatgrandma Dorothy was there.

His greatgranddad watched him blow out the candles on his cupcake.

Here Kassidy is helping Kade blow out the candles on his cake at the family party that was held for he and I on Easter.Jenny made him a 3 layer chocolate cake.

Another one at Chuck-E-Cheese on April 7,and then on Easter Sunday. It is my birthday on April 24, so I celebrated my birthday with him on Easter.

Up ,up, and away
