Mom and Dad will be Baptized Today

Ed and Dorothy Smith will be baptized today,April 25,2009
We held a reception for them at our house

I have been a member of the church for 30 years and it has always been a dream of mine for my parents to be baptised. I can truly say that dreams do come true.

Needless to say I am thrilled that they are being baptized.

David has done a lot to talk to mom and dad about the church. he will give the talk on Baptism and he will confirm them on Sunday.

Dorothy and Ed's grandson(my son) Chad Moses baptized them . Ryan Cotten gave the talk on the Holy Ghost ,Gabe and Ryan Oakes gave the prayers, and the grand kids and great grand kids sang" I Am a Child of God"and "Families Can Be Together Forever". I bore my Testimony.

We had a family dinner after they were confirmed on Sunday April 26.

The next goal of Mom and dad is to go to the Houston Temple in a year.
